Wiesing is ideally located at the foot of the Achensee region at 568m above sea level
"It's a picturesque, lovely little village" said Beda Weber, the founder of the Tirolean local history in 1837 about the village at the foothills of the Rofan mountains. Between the access road to lake Achensee and the entrance to the Zillertal valley is the typical, very traditional Tirolean village situated. It's a family-friendly, quiet place for relaxation at medium altitudes.
