Mauritzalm Climbing Area

Mauritzalm is a small climbing area for novice climbers.

The four approx. 8-meter high climbing/scrambling routes are greatly suited for children, beginners and rope technique trainings.

Rock quality: firm gray limestone
Route length: up to 10 m
Difficulty: (UIAA scale): up to 4
Best season: May to October, dries quickly after rain
Facing: South
Altitude: approx. 1,850 m
Safety: Niro pitons

How to get there?
From Erfurter Hütte (near Rofanseilbahn top station) follow the signs to the rock face. 5 min walk.
