Paradise climbing area

This beautiful climbing area was discovered during a ski tour in 1998.

There are 17 very steep routes with heights of up to 20 meters. Climbers need a strang back and biceps. Difficulty levels range from 6c+ to 8b+.
The steep climbs and thin air can lead to asthma-like attacks. Sadly the area is only dry after several days of sun.

Rock quality: partly slick, partly sharp water-attacked lime.
Route length: up to 25 m
Difficulty: (French rating)
up to 6c+: 3 routes
up to 7c: 7 routes
up to 8c: 4 routes
3 projects
Facing: West
Altitude: approx. 1,950 m
Safety: Niro pitons, adhesive hooks
Suited to children: No

How to get there?
From Erfurter Hütte follow the normal trail to Hochiss. At the first saddle in the North of Gschöllkopf continue westwards on the trail until the trail leads out of the valley. Descend into the basin and continue between two elevations. After a descent of some 50 m turn left (southwards) towards the rock face. 30 min walk.

Please note! The climbing area is privately owned. Respect the natural landscape. For legal reasons the area must be left by 5.30 pm.
